Questions

Good to know

Does it come with a Starlink Mini or batteries?

No. You get the WebStar Box: the case, dish bracket, control panel, wiring, fan, battery mounts and ports, plus a printed Quick Start Guide. Use the Starlink Mini and M18 batteries you already own, or pick them up separately. Starlink service is set up with Starlink.

How long will it run on batteries?

On two batteries: about 4½–6 hours with 5.0Ah packs, 7–10 hours with 8.0Ah and 11–15 hours with 12.0Ah. One battery gives you about half that. On shore power it runs as long as you need.

Is it waterproof?

Weather-resistant, not waterproof. The PACKOUT case has an IP65 seal, but the box has a cooling vent and side ports. Run it with the lid latched, keep the vents clear, keep it out of heavy rain and standing water, and never submerge it.

How do I set it up?

Slide the Starlink Mini into the lid bracket and plug it in. Click in your batteries and turn their switches on, or plug in shore power. Pick Shore or M18, set the fan, then close and latch the lid. It connects in about five minutes.

Can I run it on shore power?

Yes. The shore power jack takes 12–36V DC. Plug the power supply that came with your Starlink into the wall, then into the shore jack. Never plug 110V straight into the box.

Where do you ship, and how much is shipping?

Anywhere. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. A 1-year limited warranty covers everything we build: the panel, switches, wiring, connectors and fan. If one fails from a defect within a year, we'll repair or replace it.

It doesn't cover drops, crush damage, submersion, normal wear or a box that's been modified. Your Starlink and batteries are covered by their own makers.

To make a claim, email support@webstarbox.com with your order number and a photo or video of the problem.

Will there be versions for other battery brands?

Yes. DeWALT and Makita versions and mounting brackets are in the works. Email support@webstarbox.com and we'll let you know when they're ready.

Can I get a custom build?

Yes. Email support@webstarbox.com with what you need and we'll quote it.
